The Birmingham Venture Club's Entrepreneur Accelerator Program is our region's premiere initiative for bringing high performing entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, professional service providers and national experts together for the purpose of educating, mentoring, networking - accelerating - high growth businesses.


2B Solutions
2B Solutions added two new Microsoft CRM clients this summer: Member Access Pacific in Seattle, and The Parkman Law Group in Birmingham. And for the 3rd consecutive year, 2B scanned and authenticated tickets for the SEC Baseball Tournament in May. 2B is wrapping up a project with the City of Birmingham, evaluating the possibility of upgrading the City’s existing 311 call center software. The results of the project will also be presented to Microsoft’s Public Sector team, who may partially fund the upgrade project. 2B is sponsoring the Pinnacle conference September 17-19 in Ft Worth. Pinnacle is the largest provider of technology solutions to the convenience store market, and they resell an inventory management application developed by 2B. In fact, 2B just had its largest order of 90 user licenses through Pinnacle. 2B is co-sponsoring the Bethany Benefit supporting Camp McDowell at Good People Oct 12 and will be doing the ticket validation scanning for it. This is the same system used for the SEC Baseball Tournament. Finally, 2B is currently testing the beta version of Microsoft’s newest CRM system. 2B is among a limited number of partners testing the new system.

Digital Marketing Services, Inc.
Digital Marketing Services, Inc. (DMS), a provider of digital printing, web-to-print, graphic production and design, direct mail marketing services, and statement processing was recently named to the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing businesses. The list, produced by Inc. Magazine, features the top private companies in America from 2009 to 2012 in terms of revenue growth. DMS was ranked number 1601 with three-year revenue growth of 247 percent. The company was one of 51 businesses from Alabama to make the list and was the 14th fastest-growing private company in the state.

Hospicelink is moving the corporate office to Highland Avenue, doubling the size of the current space. They have hired 21 people over the past 12 months and look to continue to hire at that pace. Hospicelink just closed another round of funding from Noro-Moseley Partners and currently has a growth rate of +900% over the past 12 months.

ITAC Solutions
ITAC Solutions, one of the Southeast’s leading recruiting and staffing firms was recently named 2013’s Best Company to Work for in Alabama in the "small employer" category. This is the fourth consecutive year that ITAC has participated in the survey sponsored by Business Alabama and Best Companies Group. ITAC currently has offices in Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile, Alabama as well as Nashville, TN. The company also ranks among Inc. magazine's list of the 2013 Fastest Growing Private Companies showing up at #2557 with revenue growth at 139 percent in the period from 2009 to 2012.

Kiosk Evolution
Kiosk Evolution, a leading digital kiosk solutions provider, has successfully launched a web based administration program to remotely manage digital content changes for in the field use of kiosks. Digital content changes are pushed in real time to specific devices that may be managed either separately or together making the product appealing and ideal for the purposes of internal corporate communications, benefits enrollment and community engagement. Kiosk Evolution's custom kiosk solution incorporates split screen technology (specifically a connected television monitor and iPad), to manage and push content in real time using the television monitor as a public platform and the iPad as a private interactive screen. The kiosks are designed to be a physical fixture of a physical office or building through the wall mounted design, or free standing with the ability to serve multiple events for clients by being completely portable.
